Oil change and Valve adjust

This past week I adjusted the valves on my KTM and I did an oil change.
Both jobs went without a hitch.

Karen got a Job

Karen got a new job. She starts in two weeks. She is very excited about this.
Brian is still at collage, I think that he is enjoying it very much.

decision time

Well, I hummed and hawwed and I finally decided to take the plunge and buy the new bike. I am really nervous about this. I am looking forward to it, but am nervous also.

2nd Annual Bike Ride

Well we are done our second annual motorcycle ride. The weather was great for the whole weekend. I made the mistake of going in to Nelson and looking at new motorcycles. Nice, very nice.

We stopped at Ainsworth Hot Springs for a swim.

We went to Beaverdell, Rock Creek, Grand Forks, Rossland, Trail, Nelson, Kaslo, Nakusp, Needles, Lumby, Lavington, Dee Lake, Winfield and home

Second Annual motorbike trip

Tomorrow , Steve and I are headed out on our second annual motorcycle trip. I think that we are going to get as far as Grand Forks tomorrow. The second day (Sat) we will get as far as Nelson we hope. The third day (Sun) we will get back to Kelowna, via Mable Lake. To get ready for the trip I am going to put on my Metzlers,  and check the valves.

Rock Creek Trip

Gord and I went for a ride to Rock Creek
On the way back, we went up to the top of Big White.

Which motorcycle

I am considering a new motorcycle. I had thought I had it narrowed down to a KTM 950 or a BMW 1200. But there is always the Suzuki V-strom to consider. The Suzuki is half the price of a BMW and apparently works as well?

Monashee ride

Took a little ride through the Monahees. I stopped at a little lake that was part of a reststop












I crossed the Arrow Lake at Needles on a rope ferry.


















Just past Nakusp I came upon this nice
little waterfall at another reststop

Mabel Lake Ride

Sat after work I took a little trip to Mabel Lake to see Scott and his family. I saw some interesting rock formations on the way.











Scott has got a nice tent trailer.
